On Saturday 13th of July there will be an open-air Jazz night at the Municipal Auditorium Miguel González Berral, in Mijas Pueblo. The programme includes performances by the groups Costa Jazz Quartet, the Red Trio and the Suzzette Jazz Quintet. The entrance will be free until full capacity is reached. This event is organised by the Tourism Department of the Mijas Town Hall with the collaboration of La Cochera Producciones. 

As explained by the councillor for tourism, Francisco Jerez, "these are groups with three different jazz styles. The idea is that people get to know this music style and enjoy it, and I'm certainly going to enjoy it".

The evening will begin with the Costa Jazz Quartet who will present their latest project "Jazz De Cine" in which they perform the themes of famous films related to jazz music. They will be followed by the Red Trio with their lively show inspired by the bands of New Orleans. Finally, the Suzette Jazz Quintet will perform the best classical jazz and swing.

The councillor for tourism promotion, Juan Carlos Maldonado, explained that the "Town Hall is working to consolidate a tourism that is not just sun and beach, offering activities that allow tourists to enjoy the cultural aspects of our municipality".
