Recently the laws that regulate holiday rentals have been modified, something that some foreign residents of Mijas may be unaware of and which may affect them if they are beneficiaries of this type of rental. In order to address this situation, the Foreigners Department of Mijas Town Hall has prepared an informative talk on Tuesday 16th of May at 16:00 hours. 

As the councillor for Foreigners, Mario Bravo (PP), recalled, "there are many people in this area of the Costa del Sol who do not live permanently in their homes and rent them out, for this reason we want to explain them the advantages and disadvantages of the new legislation, so that they comply with it and also coordinate properly with their homeowners' associations, so that the coexistence between owners and tenants in the short, medium and long term is as peaceful as possible", he said.

The meeting will take place in La Cala Branch Offices and although it is an open event you must book a seat by sending an email to frd@mijas.es. The event is in collaboration with María del Mar Núñez Alba and Marta Nacarino's law firm and will be followed by refreshments.
