The animal association Mijas Felina has organised an event on the 19th of May to raise funds to continue its social work. From 10:00 to 15:00 hours, at the Branch Office square in La Cala, Mijas Felina will offer several activities as its secretary, Manuela Bernardo, said: "We will have a craft market with products made or donated by the members, a homemade cake with coffee, and some entertaining activities for those who come, also organised by two members". In this way, Naima oriental school, Conchi's stretching classes and an assortment of 'tapas' will complement the agenda of this event which has the collaboration of the Foreigners Department of Mijas and whose councillor, Mario Bravo (PP), invited people to participate to "support an association that takes care of all the abandoned cats and that uses the method of capture, sterilisation and release and also takes care of the feeding of the colonies".

Koco Bistró

For its part, the restaurant Koco Bistró, in Mijas Pueblo, is offering on Sunday 21st of April, from 12:00 to 16:00 hours, a day of charity 'tapas' in aid of Mijas Felina. "Our main objective is to raise money so they can face the expenses they have and continue caring for the feline colonies", explained Estefanía Henao, owner of the restaurant and also public relations of Mijas Felina. In this charity event we will taste both savoury and sweet 'tapas', and vegetarian tapas, each at 2.50 euros.
