A Guardia Civil officer and driving school instructors gave a talk in English on this subject, including practical demonstrations
Participants presented new ideas and explored ways of collaboration between the associations and with the Town Hall
During this meeting they discussed matters of interest for British citizens, in Mijas there are more than 8.000
There will also be charity markets, the celebration of the 10th anniversary of Mijas Felina and an informative talk on traffic regulations
The department has planned informative talks, conferences, charity and Valentine’s Day markets
Last year they dealt with 9,580 enquiries in person, 7,310 telephone calls and 11,340 e-mails
There are several events, in addition to the charity market, in which many local collectives take part
Issues such as the exchange of driving licences or how to obtain a residence card were discussed
The founding partner of Intercala Asesores José Luis Navarro reported on the matter to the foreign residents in attendance
Informative talks, street markets, a British Legion parade and a walk will be the main attractions
On its 40th anniversary, the newspaper honours other projects which have also been pioneers in the development of the foreign community on the Costa del Sol.
The event was held at the Chaparral Golf Club and, together with the Town Hall, several companies from the Costa del Sol collaborated
