Mijas Pueblo lives its carnival to the fullest until the arrival of the rain

The event also included entertainment, children's activities, a parade and the traditional fancy dress competition
On Saturday 1st of March the party will be in Las Lagunas, on Sunday 2nd in Mijas Pueblo and on Sunday 9th in La Cala de Mijas
Three meetings will be held, one in each centre, on February 25th, 26th and 27th
The activity, which is free of charge, is aimed at registered residents aged between 14 and 35
Two street sweepers and operators were deployed in the three centres, and in La Cala and Las Lagunas a sweeper lorry was also incorporated
The event will include parades, floats, fancy dress processions and the performance of a 'murga' (street band)
The trip is this Saturday, 17th of February, and there are still places available
The Town Hall will provide buses from Mijas Pueblo and La Cala to facilitate the transportation
On Friday 24th the fairground in Las Lagunas hosted the children’s fancy dress contest and on Saturday, the adult contest. On Sunday it was Mijas Pueblo’s turn
The festivities begin this weekend in Las Lagunas and La Cala and continue on the 25th and 26th of February
The Cala Boulevard was the stage for this celebration, which also included a costume contest
