This solidarity event with national and international associations in 2022’s summer is ending. Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st August will be the last days these charitable groups will set up their tables during the summer, from 7 pm to 10 pm. It will be until next September when the associations will return to the Plaza de la Tenencia de Alcaldía in La Cala with their usual opening hours.

It is a Foreigners Department initiative which has been running for more than a year to help these groups. It was born after the first waves of the COVID-19 pandemic, as the collectives couldn’t hold fundraising events and activities.

Among the groups looking for help are Mijas Felina, Age Concern, Club de Leones de La Cala, Cáritas, ACE, and Donkey Dreamland, among others.
