The group will set off from Plaza de El Torreón on an accessible 5 km walk along the Coastal Path, to which everyone is welcome: children, pets and people with reduced mobility. The first 200 people to arrive at the event will receive a free T-shirt.
At the end of the walk, Plaza de El Torreón will host a handicraft market with stalls, music, free blood glucose tests, entertainment and much more. The event is free, but the group welcomes donations. The proceeds will go towards supporting the group’s work in providing assistance and raising awareness about diabetes.
No prior registration is required, but the group encourages those interested to sign up in advance, either at the La Cala Lions Club charity shop or by calling 607 879 450.
