On Monday 8th, the Mijas Town Hall, through its Parks and Gardens department, opened Water Park, situated in the Las Cañadas area. As is the case every summer, the facility is once again available to local families.

This was announced Monday by the councillor for the department, Daniel Gómez Teruel (PP), who explained that continuous maintenance is carried out throughout the year to ensure everything is in working order. “Last year we opened on the 13th of June and this year we have decided to bring the opening forward due to high demand, as many families were asking for it, so it is now open”, explained the councillor.

To ensure safety, the water used has undergone a series of tests to, among other things, prevent the presence of Legionella. The councillor pointed out that the park has a closed water circuit, meaning all the water is recycled.
