Cortijo Don Elías will host the III ACE Málaga 2025 Competition until Sunday 26th, an established event recognised as a benchmark for enthusiasts and breeders of psittacines, particularly lovebirds.
The event has been organised by the Mijas Town Hall, through the Department of Livestock, together with the Asociación Agapornis Club España (ACE Málaga) and the Federación Ornitológica de Andalucía (FOA).
This year, the competition will bring together around 600 specimens from various parts of Spain and Portugal, reinforcing its international character and attracting visitors from across Europe. "This is an event that highlights the effort and dedication of breeders, who are the ones who make it possible for this hobby to continue growing and gaining recognition beyond our borders", said the councillor for Livestock, Eloy Belmonte (Vox).

During the competition, the birds will be received and evaluated by a team of specialised judges, and there will be educational activities and an exhibition open to the public on Saturday 25th of October from 10:00 to 20:00 hours and on Sunday 26th until 13 hours, when the awards ceremony for the best specimens and breeders will be held.
