The Mijas Youth Department is organising a visit to the Carnival in Cadiz. The Town Hall will provide two free buses to go on the 1st of March to enjoy the festive atmosphere in the capital of the Andalusian carnival. The application period begins on February 7th and will remain open until February 14th. Applications can be made through the electronic office, and in person at the municipal registers of the Town Hall and the branch offices.

To participate you must be registered in Mijas and be between 14 and 35 years old. Up to the age of 16, young people must be accompanied by an adult responsible for them, and up to the age of 18, they must present an authorisation signed by their legal guardians. 

According to the councillor for Youth, Melisa Ceballos (PP), "throughout the year we organise different leisure activities for young people. There is something for everyone, because we understand that they should have a wide range of possibilities". The councillor also stressed that "this year we have arranged two buses for this trip, so that a greater number of Mijeños can enjoy it. They will leave on the 1st of March from the water park at 10 hours and will return from Cadiz at 00:00 hours.
