On Wednesday, they removed the debris caused by a landslide in Valtocado that prevented road traffic in the area

Both on Wednesday and Thursday the Operational Services department worked to remove everything that the DANA left in its wake. The municipal workers removed stones and debris on the road that links Valtocado with other points such as La Alquería and Mijas Pueblo, landslides that, among other consequences, prevented the circulation of vehicles and the M-222 bus line, which connects this area with Las Lagunas. The teams also travelled on Thursday to the area of the Carretera de Mijas and Camino de Coín, where the rains have left a lot of dirt, to continue with the cleaning and cleaning work.

As the councillor for Operational Services, Daniel Gómez Teruel, explained, "the work is more about cleaning up and returning to normality than repairing the damage caused by the DANA", because as he pointed out, "there was a lot of prevention work, which, as we can see, has paid off".
