The back to school season is also starting for students enrolled in the different workshops at the UP. The councillor responsible for the institution, Melisa Ceballos (PP), announced that on the 16th of September most of the workshops will begin, a total of 23. At the beginning of October, another 12 will start and, yet to be determined, there are two more (the yoga and film workshops).

According to Ceballos, "this government team is fully committed to these workshops and we are aware of how well received they are by the citizens". The councillor also stressed that in recent weeks "inaccurate" information has been disseminated to create "uncertainty" among users. "I want to make it clear that the UP is going to start without any inconvenience, both for teachers and students. So that they have complete peace of mind that 23 workshops will start on the 16th of September", said Ceballos.

The workshops that will begin this month are dance, English, handicrafts and painting, computers, guitar, piano, tapestry, yoga, ceramics, photography, painting, Spanish guitar and brass, divided into various groups and teachers.

The head of the UP also stated that "there will be some workshops that will start later due to technical reasons, they will start at the beginning of October. The students won't have any problems as they will make up those days in June".

The head of the UP also stated that ‘there will be some workshops that will start later due to technical reasons, they will start at the beginning of October. The students won't have any problems as they will make up those days in June’. These workshops are choir and musical initiation; classic, acoustic and electric guitar; flamenco dance and ballet; theatre; painting; decorative techniques; creative writing and languages; handicrafts; flamenco dance; tai chi; Japanese and brass.

As a novelty this year, the Japanese workshop has been extended to the third level, and the decorative techniques workshop has also been extended to the districts of Valtocado and Entrerríos.

Enrolment
The enrolment period is open until the 12th of September, although most of the workshops are already full and there is even a waiting list due to the positive acceptance of the workshops. In total, the course will have 3,200 students, 200 more than last year.

"From the UP we are very excited about the beginning of the course. I want to thank all the teachers, the students and the municipal team that has been working to make these workshops possible", concluded Ceballos.
