Last Friday, the mayoress of Mijas welcomed the Mister International Mijas who is competing in Málaga for the title. This is Miguel Angel Cruz, a 21 year old from Mijas who has just finished his degree in Psychology and is participating for the first time in a beauty contest.
The delegate of Mister International Malaga, Carmen Serrano, explained that "this is a beauty contest that evaluates not only beauty, but also other aspects, such as sporting abilities, interviews with the jury, talent tests; in short, they are looking for a complete man to represent Malaga".

Miguel Ángel impressed everyone in the first interview. This future psychologist is very well prepared and is clear about his future. The candidate stands out for his discipline and beauty, and he also loves bodybuilding. He is from Mijas, but 4 years ago he went to Granada to study psychology. Now he has finished his degree, and is looking forward to working in psychology and preparing himself to become a policeman.

Sixteen young people will represent Malaga in this competition whose gala will be held on the 11th of August at the municipal auditorium in Rincón de la Victoria. On that day, the Mister will be chosen to represent us in Tenerife. The favourites for the public have already been selected through social media.
