La Cala de Mijas Lions Club has organised for Sunday 2nd a Summer Fair and they invite all those who want to come and participate . This event, which will be held in the Butibamba Park from 11:00 hours, will include a fashion show with live music.
“It will be open to the public as the entrance is free, and you can come with the whole family because we will enjoy live music by John Sharples, Costasoul Singers, Tony Whitehouse and Young Elvis”, said Sandra Tavendale, a member of La Cala Lions Club,
The aim of the event, as we are accustomed to from this association, is charitable. Tavendale pointed out that the fashion show is intended to show and publicise the second-hand clothes currently in stock at their charity shops, and when they sell them, they raise funds to continue with their charity projects.
In addition, during the Summer Fair, visitors can enjoy a snack including a glass of cava for 10 euros.
