Expanding the professional network. This is the aim of this international networking event for businesses promoted by the Department for Foreigners in Mijas Town Hall and aimed at companies on the Costa del Sol of Danish, Dutch, British, German, Finnish and Spanish origin, among others. This was highlighted on Monday by Katja Thirion, a technician from the municipal department, who emphasised that "this is a meeting where any company can go to promote itself and perhaps find partners to do business with". 

Among the participating entities, we find some with a wide professional background that can inspire many others, such as Bic Euronova, which has more than 30 years of experience working to promote innovation in companies. Its representative, Sandra García, said that "we have an incubator in a building in the Technology Park of 4,000 square metres in which innovative companies are installed, whether they are start-ups or consolidated companies that have a new innovative strategic line, which receive support from us to ensure that this business plan, this innovative project is successful". 

Finding synergies and being able to work in groups are two of the main ideas highlighted in these networking events that always turn out to be interesting and useful.  "This is a great opportunity for local businesses, not just women-led businesses, so we're opening the event up to all businesses in the area, so that everyone can come together and show what they do to a wider community", said Ali Meehan of Costa Women.

The event will take place at El Chaparral Golf Club on June 5th at 7pm. Tickets are priced at 10 euros and can be purchased until the 28th of May by calling 711 093 412.
