The municipal corporation of the Mijas Town Hall is holding its first plenary session of 2024 today Wednesday, with a total of 10 items on the agenda, including emergency motions and Any Other Business. 

Among other matters, in the ordinary session in January, the modification of the ordinance on the good use and enjoyment of the beaches of Mijas will be presented for approval. In addition, the new name of the Las Lagunas Theatre will be approved, which from now on will be named after Manuel España, a well-known theatre professor in the municipality. In urban development matters, a section of the General Plan will be modified regarding an access to the Osunillas neighbourhood.
