The first item on the agenda of the ordinary plenary session for the month of November, held on Wednesday, was the inauguration of Juan Antonio Carrasco as socialist councillor, who from today replaces José Miguel Fernández Moya, after having resigned from his post as councillor due to incompatibility with his job. Carrasco promised to faithfully carry out his duty as an opposition councillor, "with loyalty to the King and observing the Constitution as the fundamental rule of the State", emphasised the secretary of the Mijas Town Hall, José Manuel Páez, during the ratification of the appointment. The councillor also received the medal of the corporation from the mayoress of Mijas, Ana Mata (PP).
