Agents of the Guardia Civil have arrested an individual, within the so-called operation Casco 23, for allegedly committing two crimes of robbery with violence and intimidation that he would have carried out in the same establishment in Mijas. The investigation began when the owner of a shop reported that a person with his face covered had entered his establishment on two occasions, threatening him with a large knife and taking the money and jewellery he was in possession of at the time. He used physical violence when he resisted. On both occasions, the detainee escaped with the loot using a moped. 

Weeks later, the Guardia Civil managed to identify the alleged perpetrator of the robberies, who turned out to be a 45-year-old man from the municipality, and he was arrested for the alleged commission of two crimes of robbery with violence and intimidation. The man was sent to the Juzgado de Instrucción nº 4 in Fuengirola and was ordered to be remanded in prison.
