Throughout the weekend there will be numerous activities at the headquarters of the neighbourhood association

On the 7th, 8th and 9th, the Valtocado Neighbourhood Association is holding one of its most eagerly awaited events for the residents of this district: the days of coexistence in honour of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception. The activities will begin on Friday 7th at 21:30. Juan Jesús Leiva's salsa group will perform and Katrina will close this first festive evening.

On Saturday, the programme of activities will begin at midday, when sardine skewers will be served to those attending. From 18:00 hours onwards, the afternoon will be dedicated to the little ones and traditional popular games will be organised for them. At 21:00 there will be a performance by the Universidad Popular dance group directed by Remedios Fernández, Andrea Aguilera will do face painting and the comedians Yulen El Peluquero and El Pata will provide the evening's entertainment from 22:30 onwards. Finally, the programme of activities on Friday will close with a performance by the murga Pa Ti Tó (third place in the Malaga chirigotas competition and first prize for the best costume).

Pilgrimage

The big day will be Sunday 9th, starting at 11:30 hours, with the celebration of the traditional pilgrimage from Los Condes. There will be a mass officiated by the parish priest of Mijas, Francisco Villasclaras, and at midday a paella will be served, a watermelon game will be played and gifts will be given to the participating floats and horse riders.
