The First Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Works, Facilities and Energy Management of Mijas, José Carlos Martín (Cs), announced the period to apply for the rental spaces in the Virgen de la Peña car park (Mijas Pueblo) is open and will have until the 1st of September. "Those interested have 15 days to apply for these parking spaces in the municipality, so we encourage everyone to apply," said the Councillor.
Thus, the procedure can be carried out online by making the application through the link of the Electronic Register of the Mijas Town Hall (for which identification and an electronic signature are required) in person at the Citizen Attention Entrance Register of the Town Hall or any of the Mayor's Offices and in the registers of other public administrations.
Residents must present the completed, signed and registered application form, census registration certificate, ID card, ownership of the light vehicle, proof of payment of the last Mechanical Traction Tax bill and payment of the last car insurance bill. In the case of businesses, legal persons must accompany their application with a copy of the company bylaws, NIF card and powers of representation of the natural person making the application on their behalf. The owners of economic and professional activities, both natural and legal persons, must provide documentation accrediting the link with the property located within the area of influence of the car park.
