The Mijas Employment Promotion Department has announced the opening of a new selection process for professionals in the hospitality sector in the province. This was announced by the Councillor in charge of the department, Laura Moreno (PSOE). She stressed the importance of this agreement to "expand the employment opportunities for Mijeños and Mijeñas, and therefore the job opportunities in the area".

The Consistory, in collaboration with this franchise, will collaborate in the selection process of a head chef and a waiter for the next opening of this establishment in Fuengirola. "Once again, we offer the Employment Promotion professionals and our facilities to carry out this type of selection, which will focus on the recruitment of kitchen and dining room staff for a restaurant", Moreno points out.

Those interested in applying for these jobs should bring their updated CVs to the Employment Promotion facilities in Las Lagunas on Thursday 12th May, from 10 am to 2 pm. "During this time, the CVs will be collected, and possible candidates for both positions will be selected", explained the area.

Thus, the Council points out that they will continue betting on new private sector agreements to continue creating employment opportunities in the city. "We have done with the agreement recently closed with the Hotel la Zambra. We obtained the commitment that at least half of the staff will be from Mijas, as well as we have done with other entities such as Ilunion Hotels Andalusia, to promote the employability of disabled people," concludes Moreno.
