Mijas Town Hall has informed, this Tuesday, that the three official collection points set up to collect humanitarian aid for Ukraine are changing their opening hours. Anyone wishing to donate products to the Ukrainian people can do so from Monday to Friday at Cortijo Don Elías in Las Lagunas, from 9 am to 7 pm; in Mijas Pueblo, at Calle Coín 46, from 9 am to 2pm, and in La Cala Senior Citizens Home, from 9 am to 2 pm.
The products can be donated in these three points that the City Council has enabled in collaboration with Ukrainian families living in the municipality. These are mainly medicines, canned food, blankets, and personal hygiene products.
Finally, the City Council reminds us that the Department of Social Services has made a telephone number available to residents for consultations, 952 48 63 70, from 9 am to 2 pm from Monday to Friday. Likewise, the Spanish Commission for Refugee Aid (CEAR) can be contacted on 951 56 10 71 or 628 61 07 56 (from 7 pm to 7 am) for any information or help. The CEAR asks to send an email appointment, if possible at informacion.malaga@cear.es.
