CLC World Foundation donates materials for Adimi's early care workshops

  • During this month, 11 users will be admitted to the residence for the severely affected at the collective's facilities
  • CLC World Foundation continues to collaborate with the group on different projects

The area of Social Services also collaborates with the association by financing various projects with a municipal budget of 80,000 euros

After making the centre where Adimi attends to its users a reality, the CLC World Foundation continues to collaborate with the group on different projects. On this occasion, the organisation has donated materials for early care, both for children and young people, for the association's users. The President of Adimi, Cristóbal Moreno, thanked the foundation for the history of help and collaboration between the two organisations. "The material used in therapies and to carry out reports and studies is very expensive and standardised", something very costly, said Moreno, for the association to take care of, as "we always try to have the best material because some of it is used to diagnose users. We at Adimi will continue to strive to have the best material for our users," he added.

CLC World indicated that "since we contributed to the construction of the Adimi centre, every year, we have been supporting them and contributing to them is always a source of satisfaction, especially when we collaborate in physiotherapy projects or new treatments that we believe will improve the lives of people in need," said the President of the foundation, Juan Miguel Marcos.

For his part, the Mayor of Social Services of Mijas Town Hall, Hipólito Zapico (PSOE), was also present at the donation of the material. "In this case, the aid is aimed at the early care service that Adimi has at the centre," added the Councillor, who in turn stressed that the Council "always collaborates with them. This year, several interesting programmes have been presented by the group, that we are going to finance with 80,000 euros from the municipal budget, as it is a way of collaborating with its users to be able to contribute to the therapies they need to improve their lives and enable them to be autonomous".

Residence for the seriously affected

In addition, after three years of waiting to be able to open the residence for the seriously affected, 11 users will be admitted to this new unit of the centre.

Charity raffle

And since due to the pandemic it is not possible to celebrate big events, the Autism Charity Association will not organise this year the usual charity dinner in benefit of Adimi, but will hold a raffle with more than 100 gifts, which will be broadcast on Wednesday, December 15th, live on La Mega Latina (96.5).
