Once again, this year, the star competition of Christmas in Mijas, the Navidando, is back. An initiative of the Youth Department to enjoy and play with the family which, in this new edition, promises great prizes. The main prize, as the Mayor of Mijas, Josele González (PSOE), has announced, is a Kymco Agility City motorbike, valued at 2,300 euros, which will be won by the winner of the gymkhana. "It is one of the most consolidated activities within the Christmas programme of our municipality, which grows with the passing of the editions, and which this year resumes its on-site modality, so it moves, its meeting point to Fernán Caballero Park in Las Lagunas, thus recovering its essence," said the Mayor, who stressed that "it will be an experience full of challenges, of difficulties, full of surprises and that will distribute magnificent gifts, and that I am convinced that it will not disappoint anyone".
In addition, the second individual prize will be a ten-inch Huawei tablet and there will be a prize draw among all participants for one of the star video game consoles on the market, the X-Box Series S. There will also be prizes for teams, such as gamer items, nights out in rural houses, gift cheques for 30 euros to be spent in a shop specialising in video games, and sports activity monitoring bracelets, among others. "The Youth Department of Mijas Town Hall has made a huge effort to consolidate this Christmas gymkhana, with all these gifts, most of them related to new technologies and the world of video games," said González, who added that "we want everyone to leave with a gift, always depending on their ranking in this competition".
The challenge this year is to beat last year's record participation. "That is the goal, although the main thing is that they come ready to have fun because fun is guaranteed," said the Mayor of Youth, Tamara Vera, who invited everyone to participate in this gymkhana.
This experience is designed to be enjoyed with family and friends. "It is very gratifying to see how fathers and mothers play as a team with their sons and daughters in the Navidando and we hope that this year there will be many who can also live this experience. In addition, to fight the chill, we will provide them with hot chocolate and churros," added Vera.

Face-to-face activity
The Navidando will take place this Saturday, 18th December, from 3 pm in the Fernán Caballero Park in Las Lagunas at 3 pm.The teams will consist of a maximum of 4 people, and they will be called to receive the instructions for the game. "The game will have the first phase in teams, with a maximum of four members, and then, the best classified of this preliminary phase, will enter the final phase, but each of the members will compete individually for the grand prize," said Vera.
To participate in the game, and follow each of the clues that the organisation will give during its development, it will be necessary to download the Game Cities mobile application.
