After two months enjoying performances every week in the three nuclei, in addition to the ‘Ruta de la Tapa’ and the craft market in Mijas Pueblo on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the programme of the Department for Tourism to liven up the summer nights comes to an end this coming Tuesday, August 31st. On Friday 27th, the La Butibamba park in La Cala will host the Daniel Song concert; On Monday 30th, on the Plaza Virgen de la Peña the dance group of Bernardi Gabriel will perform and, on Tuesday 31st, the groups of Remedios Fernández and Víctor Rojas will be on stage in this same space. Later, at 23:30 hours, the grand prize draw will take place among all those who have participated in the Tapa Route and delivered their ‘Tapaporte’ fully stamped at the Tourist Office. Among the gifts, there will be lunches and dinners in restaurants, spa sessions or hotel nights. In addition, throughout that night we will know the winning restaurant in the Tapa Route, whose gastronomic proposal has been the most voted by the public. This year, 11 establishments have participated in the route, offering tapas and drinks or ice-cream for 2.5 euros.
