With the aim of promoting the first marketplace of the Mijas Town Hall, the Council for Commerce is distributing bags, fans and advertising t-shirts to businesses in the three centres of the town. “Throughout the week we are going to be carrying out this campaign throughout the municipality and we are going to visit some of those who have already registered to provide them with campaign material and thank them for their participation, in addition to encouraging them to visit this page and make the most of it, while also explaining a little about the procedure. We also want to encourage those who have not yet done so to sign up because this page only offers advantages”, explained the councillor for Commerce, Natalia Martínez (PSOE). ‘Yomequedoenmijas.com’ is an ‘online’ marketplace or sales platform created with the aim of promoting local commerce through the web.

Sell with a ‘click’ Local businesses will be able to publicise their products and services and sell them through a click of the mouse in a very simple way and always advised by specialized technicians in the field. “Ultimately, what we want is to increase the sales of businesses, digitize those companies that have not yet made the move to the digital world, make it much easier for them since we have professionals who advise them at all times; it is about adding their sales and giving visibility to all our business owners”, added the councillor. All those interested in being part of the ‘I will stay in Mijas’ campaign will be able to formalize their registration through the website itself until September 10th, all free of charge.
