Mijas will once again host a massive COVID-19 screening next Saturday, July 17th. A total of 1,000 'mijeños' will be summoned by the Andalusian Health Service to these tests, which are voluntary. The mobile unit will be available from 9.30 to 15.00 hours at the Las Lagunas fairgrounds and antigen tests will be performed there, the results of which will be known in just 20 minutes.

The Andalusian Health Service reminds that this screening can only be attended by those people selected randomly and who have been previously notified through an SMS message, in which the time and place they should go will be specified. Likewise, they must present their ID to identify themselves. From the Town Hall in Mijas they ask the residents for maximum collaboration facing this new call of the SAS, as well as to take extreme precautions to reduce the contagion figures in the municipality as much as possible.
