The replotting of the sector includes the transfer of 70,600 square metres of public green areas and almost 23,600 of school and sports areas, among others

The real estate developer, One Eden, lands in the municipality with a project of great magnitude, Royal Palms Mijas, a development of 990 homes in La Cala on an area of 341,589 square metres. The residential complex will also have a commercial area, public facilities, such as a hiking footpath, and will be, they highlight, "sustainable, with 30% of the area left as green zones". This was assured by the director of One Eden Spain, Antonio Sardina, who added that “in addition to the green areas contemplated in the partial plan itself, we, within each residential area, are going to provide a large amount of vegetation; It is what we normally do in any of the complexes in the world where we carry out similar projects”.

This Tuesday the first stone was placed for the urbanisation in the sector in which the promotion will be raised, SUP-C6C 'Calasol', to the north of the Jardín Botánico urbanisation. In this replotting project, the developer cedes 70,599 square metres of public green areas, 23,596 square metres of commercial, social, school and sports areas, in addition to public roads and other technical systems, with the total area transferred reaching 145,363 square metres.
The promotion of 990 homes will be built on an area of 341,000 square metres in La Cala.
Accompanied by the councillor for Town Planning, Andrés Ruiz (Cs), the mayor of Mijas, Josele González (PSOE), was in charge of laying the first stone of this real estate project that entails a private investment of 200 million euros in the municipality . The residential complex includes apartments, townhouses and villas of medium / high quality. Its construction, they announce, will be done in phases. "The first phase involves the construction of 69 homes, although the urbanisation work is not going to be phased, we are going to do it all at once, and we are thinking of doing two more phases simultaneously", Sardina explained.

The construction work on the residential complex, as stated by One Eden, will begin shortly, after the works are offered for public tender. It will be then when the developer establishes the sale prices of the properties.
