Everything is now ready for the Las Lagunas Fair, the municipality’s first of the season, to begin tomorrow, Wednesday 24th. It kicks off with the fairground rides at a special price of 2.5 euros, following an agreement reached between the Department of Festivities and Traditions and the fairground operators. Furthermore, from 19:00 to 21:00, both the music and the characteristic sounds of the rides will be turned off so that children with special needs can enjoy the fair, thereby removing acoustic barriers.
Feli Gabriel’s UP dance groups will be in charge of opening the stage at the the Municipal Booth from 20:30 with a show designed especially for the occasion. At 22:00, the local authorities will officially inaugurate the fairground and switch on the festive lighting. Half an hour later, the candidates for Queen, King, and their Court of Honour of the 2026 Las Lagunas Fair will begin their pageant. At the end of the evening, the winners will be announced and crowned. The first night will feature a performance by Lorenzo Molina at midnight. Admission to the Municipal Booth will be free every day until full capacity is reached.
Wednesday also sees the launch of TuKaseta at Cortijo Don Elías, run by the El Juncal Neighbourhood Association. On the first day, the entertainment will move to the rhythm of Latin music with a performance by artist Moni Kabana, who will give two sets: the first at 21:30 and the second at 23:30.
