With the aim of facilitating the reconciliation of work and family life, the Mijas Town Hall is organising an Easter camp at the Entrerríos Youth Hostel. The activity is specifically aimed at children between the ages of 4 and 14. This was reported by the councillor in charge of the Youth Hostel, Melisa Ceballos (PP), who detailed that the camp will revolve on this occasion under the theme, focused on caring for nature, ‘Our footprints’. All the activities will be carried out in small groups and with an active methodology, as, for example, routes through the area, cooking workshops, sports games and handicrafts, among other activities, will be organised.
The registration period will start on the 19th for those who are registered in the municipality and on the 31st for those who are not. There are a total of sixty places available for overnight stays, to which ten must be added in daytime format through the Social Inclusion programme.
Those interested should submit their applications by registering at any of the municipal offices in the three urban centres or through the municipal website (https://sede.mijas.es). The price for registered residents is 54 euros and for non-registered residents 108 euros.
