Mijas begins to dust off its costumes for one of the most awaited nights of the year. Undoubtedly, Halloween has become an unmissable event in the Mijas programming and this year arrives at the municipality with a wide range of activities for the whole family, where the awaited terror passages will not be missing, as revealed by the Councillor for Youth, Tamara Vera (PSOE).
"Once again, we will have the Cortijo Don Elías horror passage, focused on the youth of the municipality and, in addition, we will have several children's horror passages both in the fairground of Las Lagunas and on the Plaza Virgen de la Peña in Mijas Pueblo and the Boulevard of La Cala so that all our children can enjoy this terrifying day in our town", adds the councillor, adds the councillor, who specifies that this year the fairground "will once again become a great horror party where we can also make a gastronomic stop with several 'foodtrucks' with a variety of food".
In addition to the terrifying terror passages, the three centres of the municipality will host other free activities such as an interactive treasure hunt, 'photocall', magic show, workshops, children's games and storytelling for the little ones. In the case of Las Lagunas and La Cala, the timetable will be from 17:00 to 23:00, while in Mijas Pueblo it will start a little earlier, from 16:30 to 22:30.
"The important thing is that on the evening of the 31st of October, the whole of Mijas goes out to have a good time on the streets, to enjoy this event with family and friends, which is becoming more and more popular in our municipality. From the government team, we have made a strong commitment to celebrate this day with a great horror party that last year enjoyed unprecedented success in our town with thousands of attendees", concludes Vera.
