The mobile unit of the Transfusion, Tissue and Cell Centre in Malaga will once again be in Las Lagunas to collect blood donations. 

Specifically, it will be parked on Thursday 20th and Friday 21st of April next to the Corte Inglés Outlet from 10 to 14 hours and from 17 to 21 hours, as announced last Thursday 13th by the councillor for Health, Candela León (Cs).

“We want to encourage, as we always do, all residents and all those who can and want to donate, as it is an act of solidarity to which you dedicate five or ten minutes and you can save a life”, explained the councillor, who urged the population to donate blood because “we are moving into a period of major influx of tourists” and “the hospitals right now are facing a shortage of blood”, which cannot be produced any other way.
