The First Deputy Mayor and Tourism Councillor, José Carlos Martín (Cs), presented on Wednesday 22nd, the new leaflet that lists the 22 beach bars in the town and will soon be available in the town’s tourist offices. “Gastronomy is one of our tourist segments on the rise. In summer especially, our beach establishments attract all visitors’ attention as, while enjoying a good swim under the sun in the Mediterranean Sea, you can taste the best of our land’s good food,” said the Councillor.

 

The guide locates the 22 beach bars along the coastline of Mijas. “We make it even easier for those visitors who come to our municipality. Each beach photo has its address, telephone number, and a QR code included that helps users to access the site,” added Martín. The aim is to reinforce the tourist segments and continue “supporting entrepreneurs in the sector”. “We can proudly say, we have the best southern Europe coast. It has three blue flags, nine Q for Quality, an ISO 14001, such as the blue trail and the blue centre or the Andalucía Segura and Safe Tourism Certified seals,” the Councillor emphasised.
