A very colourful and Christmas-like event. This is what the International Christmas Show will look like. The Foreign Residents Department is organising this event, which will take place at Las Lagunas Theatre on December 15th, from 6 pm onwards. “It is a new activity that we will be celebrating for the first time”, said Arancha López (Cs), Councillor for Foreigners, adding that “we have lovingly designed the show and we would like to invite everyone to come along”. The International Christmas Show will be a colourful event full of the Christmas atmosphere. The Foreigner’s Department is organising this activity for the first time and admission will be free. Different groups will be performing on stage: Saint Lucía procession from Sweden, Fama Dance Academy, T.A.P.A.S. chorus, flamenco Grupo Sur by Victor Rojas, Phoenix Singers, T.I.M.S. Chorus and Pastorales of La Cala, typical sheperds-like music played in Christmas. “Don’t miss this show”, urged Manuela Veronese, director of the dance academy Fama, “because there will be lots of colourful decorations and, or course, a great Christmas spirit”. Also, the public will participate in the raffle of a big Christmas basket. “We are happy to collaborate with this event; what we are going to do is to raffle a typical Christmas basket among those in attendance”, explained Ilse Liebrechts, from the company Blacktower, that along with Money Corp, are collaborating with this activity. Flamenco, pastorales, dance, international music…this will be an international show with Christmas activities from different parts of the world. At Las Lagunas Theatre, on Wednesday December 15th.
