Five dancers, an aerial acrobat, a fire artist, two live musicians and a comedian are part of Flamencópolis, a very interesting production where flamenco is the protagonist.

“It is a show where flamenco meets the world, with the varied cultures of the different continents. It is a show that has been working quite well during the month of August, and has been very well received and we are very happy”, declared Irene Ferrero, artistic director of Flamencópolis.

On the occasion of the Virgen de la Peña festivities, the promoter of the event, in collaboration with the Festivities Department in the Mijas Town Hall, offers the residents in the municipality the opportunity to enjoy this show with interesting discounts.

“Those of us who have had the opportunity to see Flamencópolis can say that it is a great show and from here I encourage all those who have not yet enjoyed it to go to the Mijas Pueblo bullring on September 9th”, said the councillor for Festivities, Tamara Vera (PSOE).

The tickets for adults will cost 20 euros with the discount applied, and for children between 7 and 12 years of age will cost 5 euros. 0 to 6-year-olds will enter for free. Minors must be accompanied by an adult to access the show.

“All the residents of Mijas who want to benefit from this discount must present their ID to prove that they reside in the municipality”, explained the councillor.

Tickets can be purchased at the Mijas Village bullring. The show will start at 22 hours and the doors will open 45 minutes before.
