Last Saturday, the Manuel España Theatre in Mijas hosted the show ‘Noches encendidas’, a musical tribute to Michael Jackson and Queen that brought together a large audience to enjoy live performances of some of both artists’ best-known hits.

The event drew a very diverse audience, who came to the theatre to enjoy the live music. Some attended out of their love for music and their eagerness to discover what this tribute would sound like. “Well, first and foremost, I love listening to music, especially classical music; I’m a big fan”, said Esteban Luque, one of the attendees.

Anabel Conde also came to the Manuel España Theatre, drawn by the chance to enjoy two of her favourite artists in a single show. “I love Michael Jackson and Queen, so I thought it was a great idea to come along with my family and friends”, she said.

An experience that, for some, is becoming a regular plan whenever there is a musical event on. “Whenever there’s music on, I try to come; I love this kind of thing”, explained attendee Pepa Ruiz.

The show thus allowed the audience to connect with the music of Michael Jackson and Queen through a format that combined live vocals, pop and rock, with a set design starring candlelight.
