Mijas launches website to help voters find their polling station for 17th May

  • Over 51,000 Mijas residents are called to the polls in the Andalusian elections to elect regional parliamentarians for the province of Málaga
  • Pueden encontrar el acceso en la web www.mijas.es.

Citizens accessing the portal must fill in the required fields, in this case their ID number and letter, and their date of birth

The Mijas Town Hall has set up a dedicated section on its website where residents can check which polling station they have been assigned for the upcoming Andalusian elections on the 17th of May.

To access this tool, users must visit the website, which will take them to a search tool. To authenticate themselves, they must fill in the required fields: their ID (DNI) number including the letter and their date of birth. This will initiate a search that provides the name of their designated polling station along with a geolocation map.

On this occasion, a total of 51,059 Mijas residents are eligible to vote for the new Andalusian Parliament. Voters are distributed across 18 polling stations, 41 sections, and 73 separate polling tables.

Voting

The main change for these elections is the removal of the Regino Hernández sports centre as a voting venue due to ongoing renovation works. Voters from Mijas Golf can cast their ballots at IES Ana Carmona ‘Veleta’; those from La Sierrezuela at Cortijo Don Elías; and other sections at Los Campanales school. For any queries, residents are advised to use the online search tool.
