The Andalusian Flamenco Ballet, directed by Patricia Guerrero, presents its new production, 'Tierra bendita', in Mijas as part of the 9th Malaga Flamenco Art Biennial, organised by the Provincial Council. This series includes a total of 38 shows and has been running since last May. It will conclude on August 2nd after touring much of the province.
The Miguel González Municipal Auditorium in Mijas Pueblo will host this 90-minute show on the 20th of July at 22 hours. The cast of dancers includes Adriana Gómez, Álvaro Aguilera, Ángel Fariña, Araceli Muñoz, Arturo Fajardo, Blanca Lorente, Claudia 'La Debla', David Vargas, Hugo Aguilar, Jasiel Nahin, Lucía 'La Bronce', María Carrasco and Sofía Suárez. The singers are Amparo Lagares and Manuel de Ginés; the guitarists Jesús Rodríguez and José Luis Medina; and David Chupete on percussion. Patricia Guerrero is responsible for stage direction and choreography.
Tierra bendita
The show 'Tierra bendita' is a journey through the most representative songs and dances of flamenco, from the oldest to the newest, a production in which tradition and modernity intertwine and inspire each other, a world of flamenco without reservations or inhibitions that showcases the new generations of creators, laying the artist bare before the audience.
