The Andalusian Regional Ministry for Sustainability and the Environment has scheduled a new waste clean-up activity, coastal inspection and snorkelling workshop on the seabed of Calahonda aimed at residents of Mijas and nearby municipalities. Green Globe is taking part, and the initiative is funded by the European Union, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, and European Funds.

As part of the Natura 2000 Network Environmental Awareness and Participation Programme, currently being carried out in the province of Málaga, this initiative will take place in Mijas on the 11th of July at 9:00 hours. To take part, prior registration is required via the website www.greenglobe.es/rednatura, by email at rednatura@greenglobe.es, or by telephone on 625 60 21 23. Registration must be completed by July 10th.
The activity will begin with a theoretical and practical workshop and includes a picnic style lunch and all necessary materials. The organisers recommend wearing comfortable clothing and footwear, as well as a cap, sunscreen and water.
