The association Nueva Cultura del Desarrollo will help Father Christmas and the Three Wise Men to deliver presents to around 70 children. To do so, they have received toys from the association ‘Superheroes, one child, one smile’ and the Idiliq Foundation. This donation of almost a hundred toys comes from the ‘Toys and rock’ event organised by the superheroes, some of which will be delivered to Mijas through the Idiliq Foundation, while others will be distributed to children admitted in the Materno Infantil and other hospitals. "By organising events to collect toys we try to ensure that everyone has a present and can enjoy Christmas", said Spiderman, who handed over the gifts on behalf of all the superheroes, “that's the beauty of it, that everyone can share and enjoy a proper Christmas”, he added. 

The Idiliq Foundation assures that ‘this association is in our DNA, it is one of those that we collaborate with every year through our resources, our volunteers and our facilities. It is a very special association and knowing that the toys will go to, among others, the association Nueva Cultura del Desarrollo, is for us a guarantee of success in the action", said the president of the entity.

 

Christmas afternoon snack 

Nueva Cultura del Desarrollo is organising a big Christmas afternoon snack, which will take place on the 3rd of January at Cortijo Don Elías, where gifts will be distributed to about 70 children of different ages, "so that they have at least one new toy, because they have the right to have one", emphasised Rosa Planelles, president of the group. "We are very grateful to Spiderman, to the association ‘Superheroes, one child, one smile’ and to the Idiliq Foundation, without them this collection of toys to give to the children of our association would not be possible. We would like to wish them happy holidays and a happy New Year. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts", concluded the president of the association. This year the toys will also be delivered to the homes that collaborate with the association of foster homes for children ‘Mejor en familia’. 

For its part, the Town Hall is grateful for the work carried out by these three organisations. "It is very important this Christmas the collaboration and unity between the associations makes it possible for all children to have a new present", said the councillor for Social Inclusion, Melisa Ceballos (PP), who was present at the delivery. 

The collaboration of private companies is also necessary for these gifts to reach the children in need, "from here I would like to thank Ángel Gaitán (Automoción), Fertel Phone, Flexicar, Publikit, who have provided us with the van. The nice thing is to go as far as possible and thanks to these collaborations we can go further", said Spiderman.
