The French real estate company Selection Med, which has been established in La Cala de Mijas for the last three years, inaugurated on the afternoon of Thursday 28th its first art exhibition, to support local artists and also to promote this commercial space. Luana Zottarelli was the first participating painter. 2From our office in Spain we wanted to support artists from Mijas or based in our municipality and we wanted to do our bit with art in its different disciplines, starting with painting", said Sara Ramirez, public relations of the company.
The Italian artist Luana Zottarrelli, born in the wonderful city of Venice and settled in Mijas a year ago, is showing until the end of January in this commercial space up to 19 paintings made with acrylics. "The abstract comes to me from within, I can't explain it, I move, I put on music and I start to move, dance and paint", she said.

Painting and music occupied, on the 28th, a different space, because art can be found anywhere. "We have to support artists who live here and intend to show all their art in the municipality.
