La Cala Fair pays tribute to local senior citizens today with traditional dinner

  • The Municipal Booth will host flamenco night featuring Mujeres Por Sevillanas from 23:30, with free admission
  • Yesterday, the festivities kicked off with the opening address, Children’s Day and the crowning of the King and Queen

Mijas Comunicación to broadcast live from the fairground every day

La Cala Fair continues its programme on Wednesday, 22nd of July, with a flamenco night taking centre stage. The evening will begin at the Municipal Booth at 21:00 with a dinner in honour of our senior citizens, who will be welcomed by the Festivities Committee and members of the local council with a sangria cocktail. Following dinner, the Grandfather and Grandmother of the 2026 fair will receive special honours. The dinner is open to all senior citizens who have registered in advance with the Municipal Department for Senior Citizens and collected their invitations.

 
  • Brindis por una gran feria.

The night will continue with a performance by Mujeres Por Sevillanas: María de la Colina, Las Soles and Las Carlotas, who will deliver a show packed with coplas, sevillanas and traditional rhythms. Admission to the performance is free until full capacity is reached.
