The Mijas Town Hall has opened registration for the traditional tribute dinner for the elderly to mark the La Cala Fair. This is one of the highlights of the festivities programme, designed to recognise and celebrate the town's senior citizens in a community atmosphere.

Those wishing to attend must register by the 3rd of July at the La Cala Senior Citizens’ Office. Opening hours for registration are from 09:00 to 13:30.

The event will take place on the 22nd of July at 21:00 at the Municipal Booth in the fairground, where a large number of local residents are expected to gather for a special night.

The Town Hall encourages the municipality's senior citizens to take part in this gathering, which every year becomes a space for celebration and recognition within the fair.
