Skybound opened its first office in the town on Thursday 14th. The financial advisory group, which already has a long-standing presence on the Costa del Sol, has chosen La Cala as the location for this new headquarters.
The company works mainly with private clients, as explained by the group’s country manager, Taylor Condon: “We work with individuals across Spain on their financial planning and long-term wealth management needs. That can range from a variety of things, anything from insurance based advice, any sort of pension management or anything along those lines”, she detailed.
Institutional support
The opening ceremony, which took place at its premises in the Urbanoria building, at 1 Calle de la Noria, was attended by the councillor for Foreigners, Mario Bravo (PP), who highlighted the importance of this type of service in a municipality where “more than 40% of the resident population is foreign”. The councillor emphasised that the firm’s arrival is not intended to compete with banks or financial institutions, but rather to offer a complementary service.

Finally, Bravo welcomed the group and wished Skybound “every success” in this new phase. “From the Town Hall we views this investment favourably, not only in terms of money, but also in terms of human capital and staff specialising in financial investments”, the councillor concluded.
