To mark Holy Week, the Department of Urban Mobility at the Mijas Town Hall will launch a special shuttle bus service running from El Puerto Quarry to the centre of Mijas Pueblo. The scheduled timetable will be extended during the public holidays. From Palm Sunday (29th March) to Holy Wednesday (1st of April), the service will run from 11:00 to 16:00 hours. On the public holidays of Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, the buses will run from 11:00 to 01:00 hours. Finally, on Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday, the service will run from 11:00 to 16:00 hours. The estimated frequency will be approximately every 30 minutes, although the Tow Hall notes this may vary depending on traffic or specific local incidents.
