On Tuesday 3rd, the III Málaga Young Entrepreneurs Conference was presented. The event is aimed particularly at young people studying vocational training and will take place on the 13th of February, from 9:00 to 14:00 hours, at the Manuel España Theatre.
The aim is to facilitate access to this training on entrepreneurship for young people from across the Costa del Sol. It is organised by the Andalusian Youth Institute and sponsored by the Provincial Council. “We want young people to be motivated to become entrepreneurs and to see entrepreneurship and self-employment as another enriching professional alternative with a future”, said the regional minister for Employment, Mari Carmen Márquez.
In this regard, the councillor for Youth, Melisa Ceballos (PP), stated that “for young people who are unsure about their future, these conferences are a way of encouraging them and showing them that there are different job opportunities that they can pursue throughout their lives”.

Students from the vocational training programmes at IES Las Lagunas, Sierra de Mijas, Vega de Mijas and Ana Carmona ‘Veleta’ will attend, although students from other secondary schools in Mijas are also invited.
The conference is organised by MS GROWTH; its CEO, Álvaro García, added that “our goal is to reach young people from Mijas and other towns with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants who are studying here. Other young people from the area who are interested in the conferences are also welcome to attend”. Registration is available via the website jornadajovenesemprendedores.com.
