Can you imagine having your house built in a single day? Although it sounds incredible, it is already a reality thanks to industrialised housing, a new form of construction that is revolutionising the real estate sector. Unlike traditional methods, this type of housing is based on a modular system. Its components are manufactured in advance in specialised factories and then transported to the site, where they are assembled in record time.
In the Buenavista development, below the Sierra de Mijas, the company Arkitech is building one. The group's CEO, David Sánchez, assured that "once the house is finished and all the finishing touches are complete, there is no way to distinguish a traditionally built house from an industrialised one. The finishes are high-end, the houses have a metal structure with reinforced concrete and are sustainable and designed to withstand hurricanes and earthquakes".

According to experts, this model offers multiple advantages: faster construction, better quality control, and reduced costs and waste during the building process. In addition, they highlight its high energy efficiency, which translates into a lower environmental impact and savings for owners because, as Sánchez pointed out, "we build in a single location. We don't have lorries constantly going to the site, but instead our employees and materials are concentrated in one place. Our houses are sustainable, they come with an energy rating of type, which is the highest possible for this type of housing, and they are also eco-friendly".

Arkitech, which was founded in Mijas, already has another manufacturing site in Málaga and operates throughout Spain. It builds luxury villas and buildings. Buying one of these houses, they explained, can cost 10% more than buying a traditional one, but "the reduction in delivery time is already a saving for the owner. In terms of building height, Sánchez pointed out, "we have no limitations. We can build a skyscraper of 20 or 30 storeys".
Industrialised housing thus positions itself as a modern and sustainable alternative that could shape the future of construction. A solution designed for those seeking speed, efficiency and respect for the environment.
