B.M. Toastmasters Costa del Soul Speakers welcomes the new year with satisfaction, according to a press release, having achieved its goals and looking forward to continued growth in Mijas. That is why this public speaking and leadership club, following the Christmas break, will resume its communication meetings on the 13th of January at the Las Lagunas Cultural Centre, as before, with alternating sessions in English and Spanish.
The group also invites anyone interested in improving their communication skills or in discovering first-hand how the Toastmasters methodology works, to attend one of its meetings as a visitor. The Mijas Toastmasters club currently has 21 members who attend weekly meetings, held since last year at the Las Lagunas Cultural Centre. Since its foundation, the group has created a “dynamic, inclusive and safe space” where members can practise public speaking, communication and leadership using the renowned Toastmasters methodology, which is used internationally to develop effective communication skills, critical thinking and self-confidence.
