The Danish Club of Mijas regularly collaborates with Ángeles Malagueños de la Noche, preparing more than 300 dinners every month for the users of this service.
The club never fails. Every month, its members meet on a Wednesday to work together efficiently, preparing over 300 sandwiches and dinner bags in a single morning, which are then delivered to Ángeles Malagueños de la Noche.
Wednesday 10th was collection day, and Paco Aranda, one of the volunteer angels, along with other colleagues, went to the Danish Club to collect their contribution. "For us, it's a great relief, a break for the volunteers in Malaga, who are not alone in doing the work today. It's more than 300 dinners every month", said Aranda, adding that "this group is very serious and responsible. They show us their support month after month and make a huge contribution".
On Wednesday morning, the Danish Club members met at their headquarters in Haza del Algarrobo to carry out this work. This month is special, so they also included some chocolates in the bags to sweeten the meals for some of the recipients.
Ángeles Malagueños de la Noche feeds around 270 people every day in Malaga city, providing breakfast and lunch at its headquarters and a picnic bag for for dinner. This support is a huge relief for the organisation, which does vital work helping homeless people and those without resources in Malaga.
