Aristochat, the feline association dedicated to the rescue and adoption of cats in Mijas Costa, is celebrating its 15th anniversary. To mark the occasion, it has organised a charity dinner on Friday 14th at 20 hours at Mesón El Torillo in Fuengirola to raise funds to cover part of the costs of its activities, as its facilities shelter an average of 200 abandoned cats, which are fed, given veterinary care and sterilised before being put up for adoption by responsible families.
The dinner costs 48 euros and includes an assortment of Iberian cold meats and oxtail risotto as starters, plus a main course to choose from grilled vegetables, chicken churrasco, Iberian pork ‘secreto’, scallop and mushroom crepe or ‘rosada’ fish Alicante style. “There will also be live music, with my daughter Valérie singing, and we will hold a raffle”, said the president of Aristochat, Chantal Lancelot.
